Who we are
Emberjet OÜ (Estonia) is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why
Account: name, email and password (stored only as a secure hash), to give you access to your courses. Purchases: what you bought, the amount and the date, to deliver the course and keep accounting records. Card payments are processed by Revolut; we never see your full card details. Learning progress: which lessons you completed, so you can continue where you left off. Messages: what you send us, to answer you. Technical logs: to keep the service secure. Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and which site sent you here, without cookies and without identifying you. With your consent, Google Analytics also measures how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser), using cookies and a pseudonymous identifier.
Who else processes it
Only the providers we need to run the service: Revolut (payments), our email provider (account and purchase emails), Cloudflare (network, security and visit statistics), Google (Google Analytics, only with your consent) and our hosting provider. Google may process this data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising cookies.
Cookies and storage
Necessary (always on): your browser's storage and a secure cookie keep you signed in and let you watch the lessons you bought. At checkout, Revolut sets cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Statistics (only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga or cfz_google-analytics), kept for up to 2 years.
No advertising cookies.
You choose when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the home and course pages.
How long we keep it
Account and progress data: while your account exists. Purchase records: as long as accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or your local authority.
Terms
The course
Emberjet Academy sells recorded, self-paced online courses, such as Website in a Weekend. Every part of a course is available at purchase. Some courses need third-party services that you buy separately (Website in a Weekend needs a paid AI plan and a domain name); we are not responsible for those services or their prices.
Price and payment
Prices are in euro and include VAT. The price is shown at checkout and paid by card through Revolut.
Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee: ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Email [email protected].
Your access
You get lifetime access to the courses you buy, for your own use. Please don't share your account or redistribute the materials.
Liability
We teach a method; results depend on your work and on third-party services. The course is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid, except where the law does not allow such limits.
Law
These terms are governed by Estonian law. This does not affect the consumer rights you have in your country.
